My name is Lereko Moalosi and I go by the moniker Son of Ruth. My artwork is derived from depicting a sense of purpose in what it means to lose something of importance. Drawing parallels between the pain associated with said loss, but also the fortune of having ever had what was lost in the first place. Weather that's love, warmth, happiness, light, abundance, life. These are all the things we have and/or had, that's just one of the many things that makes the human experience so unique and that' what I chose to focus on. The concept of all things being fleeting gives everything immeasurable worth and beauty.
